What is a Dirty Gym Assessment anyway??

What is a Dirty Gym Assessment anyway??

The DG Assessment is a check-in tool used to course-correct athletes as they prevent and deal with injuries, plateau in their training, struggle with their macros, or seek to resolve any other training-related questions with a DG coach. We can hook you up with the services you may need from physical therapy, occupational therapy, LMT services, macro adjustment, and plenty more.

Some of our members have already seized this awesome opportunity. Here is what Michael, a long-time weightlifter at DG, said, “It was really informational. We discussed both history and symptoms/concerns and paths to address. It lead to an acupuncture treatment (which was a first for me), and I’ve been feeling great since.”

One of the unique things at DG is that our coaches are all highly-experienced athletes themselves, ranging in sports from CrossFit, jiu-jitsu, softball, swimming, powerlifting, weightlifting, cross country, and probably many more. With this being said, if you have any particular training plateaus that could perhaps be related to a desire in change of programming, we can help! We encourage all athletes to explore any sport to their fullest potential!

We also have coaches who are experienced in nutrition. Our coaches often follow the same methodology for themselves when it comes to macro adjustments, so you will never be alone in the process. These assessments can offer a time for you to talk to someone about any issues you are facing, rather than feeling isolated with a big nutrition adjustment or any experiences having a hard time with tracking macros.

Physical injuries or areas of concern are often the reason people may book an assessment, and we are fully equipped with the tools to help. All of our professionals in the ARC have several years of experience, and many of them are employed in local hospitals or health facilities, such as the Miami Valley Hospital and Xcel Sports Medicine.

If the Dirty Gym does not provide what you need, we will reach out to our partners in the community to help you resolve your issue and get you back on track! Come with your questions, and chat with us locally, in the ARC, or over Zoom!
